Welcome to The Hound & The Cat
With 15 years of experience and qualifications from City & Guilds, we have now put down roots in Borehamwood.
Our mission is to be Borehamwood's number one pet groomers, doggy daycare and dog boarders. Give your dog the tender loving care they deserve for being your unconditionally loyal friend.
Our beautiful, light-filled and spacious grooming room and daycare is open 7 days a week from 8am - 8pm (7am to 8am and 8pm to midnight by appointment). We've got ample parking outside with easy access to the premises. Our lovely garden gives your dogs an open-air place to play with friends between walks.
We've not forgotten you either! With our vast knowledge, we can help with advice on specific health and well-being concerns (though we will always refer you to your vet for medical advice).
There are quiet zones for puppies and adult dogs alike, needing a regular nap and for convalescing and older doggies who have been there and done that!
We take your privacy and security extremely seriously. We absolutely PROMISE never to divulge your details to any third parties.
Dog Sitting and Boarding
When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and care that your pets can demand. With years of experience, lots of satisfied customers and our own beloved dogs, you can rely on us to care for your dogs when you're away.
From the moment of their arrival they will become a part of our family and will be treated as such. All our visitors sleep in rooms in our home.
Doggy Daycare
We are always prepared to provide for any pet grooming needs your dog might need and ensure that your pet will receive the best care and love. Their happiness and care is our priority and we strive to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive. Dog boarding and doggy day care are officially a part of our home now and we aare licensed by Hertsmere Council.
